Plain English Trainer
Th e Plain English Foundation is the Australian market leader in plain English training, editing and evaluation services for government and business. We are looking for a full-time plain English trainer to join our staff.
. run our 2-day and 1-day writing skills workshops for professionals
. help to develop and maintain online and other training material
. work closely with our senior staff and our other trainers
. meet and build on our training benchmarks and standards.
Your training experience will include training professionals in workplace writing and communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate your successful track record and exceptional skills in:
. training professionals face-to-face in high-level learning activities
. plain language practice
. grammar and style, with strong attention to detail
. customer service, including dealing with colleagues and clients in a mature, professional and friendly manner
. MS Office, especially MS Word and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat
. working as part of a dynamic team.
You must also:
. have a relevant tertiary degree
. hold a certificate IV in workplace training
. be available to travel in regional NSW and interstate if needed
. have a driver’s licence
. demonstrate a genuine passion for plain English training and communication
. e-learning and on-line training experience
