Our impressive venue master plans include the $150M redevelopment of Royal Randwick opening in 2013, and the launch in 2012 of the largest Super Screen in the Southern Hemisphere.
The role:
Reporting to the General Manager Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will be a dynamic and enthusiastic professional responsible for spearheading digital innovation including:
- Develop digital marketing strategies that will enhance our brand positioning and deliver on commercial objectives for the organisation
- Manage SEO and SEM initiatives to increase relevance and usage
- Develop and manage all social marketing assets including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube to engage target customers in our race day offering and drive positive conversation with our brands
- Maintain and optimise our existing website, ensuring it meets the needs of all racing and non-racing business units
- Project manage the development of a leading edge new website and apps
- Manage partnerships with external digital agencies (creative, development and search)
- Develop digital promotional assets for Sydney Carnival and Spring Carnival
- Develop and deliver regular and targeted personalised e-marketing campaigns to key customer segments
- Manage content generation for the new Super Screen and all venue POS systems
What we're looking for:
- Marketing or Business degree qualifications
- 4-6 years previous digital project / marketing experience, preferably gained in B2C/and or sporting / entertainment industry
- Proven track record of developing and managing leading edge online marketing programs
- Experience in managing the launch and maintenance of websites, digital advertising, SEO and SEM campaigns and optimisation
- Experience and knowledge in Content Management System and web analytics tools
- A team player and motivational manager with a passion for online and up and coming technologies
- Excellent stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to negotiate and influence
