Our client, a highly regarded not for profit child care centre located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs is currently seeking a Diploma Qualified candidate to join their highly motivated and energetic team.  Working in the Toddlers Room, you will be supported by a team of experienced professionals along with an extremely knowledgeable and experienced Director who will assist you in your personal growth and development.  This centre is well resourced and has large rooms along with three outdoor play areas.  
 
Key responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Write and implement programs in accordance with the centres teaching philosophy
• Interacting and supervising children in their learning as well as their play
• Taking group sessions with children such as music and movement
• Guide and support the children to enhance their learning and development
• Document children’s observations and maintain portfolios
• Liaise with parents regularly to ensure they are updated on their child’s progress 
• Communicate with other staff members to ensure smooth running of daily routines and the overall operation of the centre

The successful candidate will have:

• A Diploma of Children’s Services 
• A Current First aid Certificate
• Experience working in a centre based environment 
• A passion for educating children 
• The desire to take on new challenges and assist to implement and promote change
• An energetic and creative nature 
• The ability to communicate on all levels
