Senior Reservations Consultants wanted for Adventure Wholesaler in the Eastern Suburbs. You will have excellent sales ability, have a passion for ski and have good travel industry skills. Sound like you? Read on!
This Niche Wholesaler specialise in Ski and Youth Travel. They operate several groups along with the running of hotels in Australia, NZ, Canada and Japan. Although this is a Senior Reservations Consultant, my client seeks someone who can quickly grow and become Reservations Manager.
With head office in trendy Eastern Suburbs, you will work closely with other departments, offer your fantastic team building skills and have the ability to work overtime during the busy winter months.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Build packages to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Canada
- Build relationships with clients and travel agents
- Look after a booking from beginning to end including general administration
- Work with the Product department to help develop new products
- Liaise closely with suppliers, hotels etc
- Mentor and train new junior staff
- Work towards team and individual sales targets
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Ability to work under pressure and towards sales targets
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous travel industry reservations experience
- Previous training experience in travel
- Excellent written and verbal English
- A passion for ski
- Fantastic administration skills
- Good organisational skills
- One to use initiative and enjoys working in a busy environment
- Attention to detail
- Someone who is willing to progress and do well
- Min 3-4 years in fast, challenging travel sales environment
