Field Officer (Group Training)

TABMA is a not-for-profit Group Training Organisation (GTO) providing employment, education and training solutions specialising in traineeships and apprenticeships. TABMA is a national organisation with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and South Australia.  An opportunity is now available for experienced and self-motivated Field Officer to join the growing team in Sydney.

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Managing a group of trainees and apprentices placed with host employers
• Marketing and sales to find new Host employers
• Identify new placements
• Provide high-level support, guide and mentor to trainees and apprentices in their placements with host employers
• Recruit and place trainees and apprentices
• Conduct regular liaison with hosts and potential hosts
• Market and promote the Australian Traineeships and Apprenticeships Scheme
• Meet sign-up targets and KPIs
• Have the desire and ability to market and seek out new host employer opportunities
• Plan and document all field activities
• Coordinate documentation for new trainees and apprentices
• Effect liaison between relevant government and non-government agencies associated with field activities
• Collect field activity data
• Provide specialist advice to the National Training and Development Manager and contribute to the development and review of policies.
• Additional duties as directed by the National Training and Development Manager
The successful candidate will have:
1. experience in managing people
2. proven sales track record
3. understanding of the traineeships and apprenticeship system
4. experience in business development.
